Exhibitors at this year’s Futuresource will have the chance to increase awareness of their products and services among senior public sector procurement professionals, thanks to a new co-location agreement that sees the event running alongside Guardian News & Media’s Public Procurement Show.

The Futuresource trade fair and conference is the European showcase for the waste and resource management sector and is staged jointly by The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and the Environmental Services Association (ESA). It is in its second year at London’s ExCel, where it will be staged alongside the Public Procurement Show. The two exhibitions will be in adjoining halls and registered visitors will be free to move between the events.
 
CIWM managing director Sarah Poulter is delighted by the development. “We are dedicated to providing the best service possible for exhibitors and this new co-location agreement is an example of this,” she says, “Visitors to the Public Procurement Show are looking to achieve improvements in resource efficiency, collaborative procurement, and value for money – all central themes at Futuresource – and our exhibitors will be able to provide products, services and expertise to help them meet these challenges.”
