Vokčra gives boost to heating industry training
Vokčra is supplying a range of high-efficiency heating products to 13 specialist training centres throughout the UK as part of its college partnership programme. The boilers and related equipment are being installed at centres owned by heating and plumbing training provider OLCI, which runs a variety of courses including NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and ACS gas exams, which installers need to qualify for the Gas Safe Register.
Products include Vokčra’s Linea HE Combi, Compact HE Combi, Mynute HE Sealed System and Mynute VHE Open Vent, as well a range of standard efficiency boilers.
Eleanor Fox, marketing director for Vokčra, said: “Training is very much at the heart of our business at Vokčra, we invest a lot of money to provide this valuable service to installers who benefit enormously from receiving training on different types of boilers. We are pleased to be partnering with OLCI, who are committed to delivering quality training.
“Quality training is vital for the growth and success of our industry and it is also important that students have the latest heating technology and equipment to learn and hone their skills on.”
OLCI has training centres across the UK with locations including Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Devon, Essex, Liverpool, Livingston (Scotland), London (two centres), Manchester, Merseyside, Newcastle and Nottingham.
