LHC offers new route to kitchen requirements
LHC has launched a new framework arrangement offering public sector officers across the UK easy access to the supply of kitchen cabinets and worktops plus associated products (K4.)
The leading technical procurement consortium has launched K4 in full compliance with public sector procurement requirements and it is now available for immediate use by any public sector organisation.
Key features and benefits include ergonomic assessments available to assure maximum comfort for all residents, including special needs, together with repairable units to reduce cost and waste through the life of the kitchen.
The framework arrangement is serviced by three appointed companies, which have also been assessed for their green credentials by LHC’s sustainability partner One Planet Products.
Says John Skivington, LHC Director: “The real benefit of using K4 is that it can enable the supply of kitchen units and worktops in a far more efficient manner, allowing public sector officers to streamline their procurement strategy.
“And this is all done safe in the knowledge that products and services have been procured compliantly, sustainably and without having to compromise on quality.
Together with the resource savings which can be incurred by using the consortium route, meaning more homes can achieve Decent Homes in quicker timescales, which is great news for social housing residents.”
The new framework arrangement is the latest in a series of 10 available from LHC, covering a wide range of building products, services and contractors, currently being used by over 200 public sector customers from across the UK.
