Three goes into one for Recticel
Recticel Insulation Products has announced that its Eurosarking, Eurowall TF and Eurofloor boards are to be replaced by a single product – Eurothane GP, which will be suitable for all the applications covered by the three original products. At the same time as reconfiguring the range, Recticel has also taken the opportunity to improve the thermal performance of the new Eurothane GP board to provide an improved lambda value of 0.022.
The Eurosarking insulation board was originally intended for use on warm and cold pitched roofs. Because of its high performance characteristics, it became popular for use in flooring and timber-framed wall applications, which were previously covered by Eurofloor and Eurowall TF respectively.
“The Eurosarking product was ideally suited to these additional applications as it met or exceeded the required technical characteristics, so it makes good sense to rebrand it as Eurothane GP – a name which reflects its general purpose and versatile nature,” explained Recticel’s sales and marketing director, Chris Hall.
Recticel feels the change will simplify product selection for the end customer and distributor, who can use one product instead of having to consider three.
The high performance Eurothane GP board has a rigid, CFC and HCFC-free PIR foam core, which has a closed cell construction. The foam core is faced on both sides with a multi-layer, coated aluminum foil.
